The Opportunity
This role acts as the analytical and operational catalyst within the CEO Office, converting complex business information into clear, actionable intelligence and ensuring strategic priorities move from concept to execution.
As Manager – Strategy & Execution, you will function as the central nerve center for executive decision-making, supporting the CEO through market research, performance analysis, cross-functional coordination, and disciplined execution of priority initiatives.
The role blends strategy, analytics, and execution excellence, significantly amplifying the CEO’s impact across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Research & Business Intelligence
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitive dynamics, industry developments, and growth opportunities
- Synthesize complex data into concise executive briefings and strategic recommendations
- Evaluate potential investments, partnerships, market entry options, and strategic initiatives
- Monitor regulatory changes, industry shifts, and competitor activity impacting business strategy
- Prepare executive-level presentations, board materials, and strategic planning documents
- Stay current on retail best practices, emerging technologies, and innovation trends
Operational Analytics & Performance Monitoring
- Analyze operational inputs from business units, regions, and functional teams
- Convert raw data into insights highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop executive dashboards and performance reporting frameworks
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on operational gaps, inefficiencies, and performance challenges
- Critically evaluate proposals and submissions for CEO review
- Identify early signals of strategic opportunity or emerging risk
Strategic Initiative Management
- Track and drive execution of CEO priority initiatives across the organization
- Ensure milestones, timelines, and outcomes are delivered
- Coordinate with project owners to unblock issues and escalate risks
- Maintain clear project governance with accountability and success metrics
- Enable cross-functional collaboration on complex initiatives
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned
Executive Decision Support
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO on complex business decisions
- Prepare decision memos outlining options, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling for high-impact decisions
- Coordinate organization-wide inputs required for executive decision-making
- Attend executive meetings to capture actions, decisions, and follow-ups
- Ensure decisions are clearly communicated and effectively implemented
Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication
- Serve as liaison between CEO Office and business unit leadership
- Facilitate communication of strategic priorities and executive direction
- Coordinate timely and accurate responses to CEO requests
- Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and collaboration
- Represent CEO Office in cross-functional forums and planning sessions
- Ensure consistent understanding of priorities across organizational levels
Meeting Management & Executive Engagement
- Design agendas for executive, strategic, and planning meetings
- Prepare pre-reads, briefing notes, and supporting analysis
- Document outcomes, action items, and ownership from executive meetings
- Manage engagement cadence between CEO and business leaders
- Support executive offsites, strategic reviews, and planning sessions
- Ensure meeting outputs translate into measurable action
Knowledge Management & Institutional Memory
- Maintain structured repositories for strategic plans, board materials, and analyses
- Create briefing documents enabling quick executive reference
- Document strategic decisions to support organizational learning
- Track commitments made to key stakeholders and leadership forums
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications & Experience
Professional Background
- 8–12 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or similar analytical roles
- Proven experience working closely with C-suite executives in complex environments
- Retail experience strongly preferred; consumer or multi-unit businesses advantageous
- Strong ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives concurrently
- Blend of analytical rigor and operational understanding
