About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst I to join our Core Experience team, focusing on our Investing and Banking product lines. In this role, you will serve as a critical partner in leveraging data to optimize the customer journey, ensuring our core features deliver maximum value. Your insights will influence product development, strategic decision-making, and operational improvements. Working at the intersection of Product, Finance, and Operations, you will transform raw data into actionable insights, build comprehensive reports and dashboards, and support experimentation and product optimization initiatives. This role offers the flexibility of a remote-first work environment, with optional access to our Irvine, CA office, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture committed to continuous growth and societal impact.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, preferably supporting product development or financial services
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Understanding of statistical concepts and experience with A/B testing methodologies
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools including Databricks, DBT, and product analytics platforms like Amplitude
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings to non-technical stakeholders
- A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering impactful products
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with the Core Experience team to analyze and support product experiments and initiatives
- Partner with Product, Finance, and Operations teams to develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards for Investing and Banking features
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract relevant data for analysis
- Utilize Databricks and DBT to transform raw data into clean, accessible datasets for broader team use
- Design and manage intuitive Tableau dashboards that monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor customer behavior and product performance using Amplitude, identifying opportunities for friction reduction and growth
- Support the establishment of data infrastructure and tools to enhance analytics capabilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize data initiatives aligned with business goals
- Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for product improvements and strategic decisions
