Job Summary

The Frontend Lead will be responsible for driving the architecture, development, and performance optimization of Mubashir’s frontend platforms. You will lead a team of frontend engineers while working closely with design, product, backend, and DevOps to ensure intuitive, accessible, and scalable user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Frontend Architecture & Development

• Architect and build component-based UI systems in React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.
• Define and enforce performance standards, browser compatibility, and modular design.
• Establish and manage a scalable design system with reusability and maintainability in mind.

1. Team Leadership

• Mentor frontend developers across levels and conduct regular code reviews.
• Define and uphold coding standards, testing protocols, and CI/CD readiness.
• Support team planning, delivery tracking, and cross-team alignment.

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and AI teams to implement integrated user-facing solutions.
• Work closely with product and UX designers to translate requirements into polished experiences.
• Champion accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and data-driven design improvements.

1. Tooling & Quality Assurance

• Implement unit and integration testing using frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Optimize Lighthouse scores and page load speeds for all production-facing UIs.
• Continuously improve frontend observability and error monitoring.

Key Competencies and Skills

1. Frameworks: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS
2. State Management: Redux, Zustand, or similar
3. Data Visualization: Recharts, D3.js
4. Testing: Jest, Cypress, Playwright
5. Build & CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Vite/Webpack, and performance profiling tools
6. Leadership: Team mentorship, architectural planning, UX alignment

Certifications to Be Acquired

1. React Advanced Developer Certification
2. Performance Optimization & Accessibility Certifications
3. Optional: Google Lighthouse or frontend performance tooling certs

1. Lighthouse scores consistently 90+ across all apps
2. UI regressions <2% per release
3. Team sprint velocity and completion rate

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
2. Experience: 8–10+ years of frontend development experience, including architecture and leadership.
3. Certifications: As listed above or equivalent practical expertise.
