I’m working with a fast-growing fintech startup with bold ambitions to reinvent wealth management. By combining modern technology with human expertise, they make high-quality financial guidance more accessible and easier to understand for a broad audience.

The role

As a hands-on Engineering Lead, you’ll have a key role in shaping both the product and the engineering function. You’ll work closely with the founders and product, take ownership of critical technical decisions and have a direct, visible impact on the company’s growth. This role goes beyond a typical senior engineering position and is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to build and own from the ground up.

What you’ll do

• Build and scale a modern fintech platform in a complex domain
• Act as an engineering lead while remaining hands-on
• Work closely with the founders and product on technical direction
• Own architecture, scalability, security and code quality
• Help grow and shape the engineering team over time

What you bring

• 6–8+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Startup or scale-up experience and a strong builder mentality
• Ambition to grow into (or further develop as) an engineering lead
• High ownership mindset and comfort with responsibility
• Experience with modern web technologies (React, Node, TypeScript, cloud)
• Fintech or finance experience is a plus, not a must
