A fast-growing fintech product in the payments and card-issuing space is launching a new product team and looking for a Software Engineer to join.

The platform enables companies across the EEA and UK to quickly launch and scale branded virtual and physical card programs.

What you’ll do

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle
• Design, build, and maintain backend architecture
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Develop microservices and APIs
• Contribute to engineering best practices, processes, and team culture

Tech stack

• Golang, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, REST
• Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
• PostgreSQL, Redis
• SOA / microservices architecture

What we’re looking for

• Commercial experience with Golang or another backend language with readiness to switch to Go
• Experience with microservices, APIs, PostgreSQL, and Docker
• Working proficiency in English
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Nice to have

• Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• CI/CD practices
• Fintech or payment systems experience
• Security best practices (OWASP, PCI DSS)
