About The Role

As a Network Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain security solutions that protect our network infrastructure. You will work with technologies such packet brokers, ssl visibility, IPS/IDS, DDoS protection, and WAF, ensuring secure traffic flow and effective threat detection. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our security architecture and automate daily operations.

Responsibilities

Designing, managing, and troubleshooting network security technologies.

Analyzing logs on a daily basis to identify false positives and adjust security configurations accordingly.

Collaborating with architecture teams and product managers to recommend best security practices and identify gaps.

Contributing to the continuous improvement of the security posture of the existing network and infrastructure by working with other security and infrastructure teams.

Keeping up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Researching, developing, and implementing new technologies suitable for the network security infrastructure.

Ensuring that daily operations are streamlined and automated wherever possible.

Expected Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Security Engineer.

Experience in operating and tuning network security solutions (DDoS, IPS/IDS, SSL Visibility, WAF, Packet Broker, Secure Web Gateway, etc.).

Experience in designing enterprise-level network security architectures.

Familiarity with the HTTP protocol, attack vectors, and corresponding defense methods.

Familiarity with encryption algorithms, cryptographic protocols, authentication mechanisms, and secure communication practices.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and integration purpos es.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders.

Good command of written and spoken English.Relevant certifications are a plus.
