Job Purpose- Shape the Future of Pricing at Barentz

Are you ready to be part of a high-impact transformation? At Barentz, we’re making bold investments in pricing excellence – from advanced software to smart methodologies and targeted training programs. As a Pricing Data Analyst, you’ll join a dynamic, fast-paced team driving one of the most important strategic initiatives in the company.

This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in building something from the ground up. You’ll join the newly established Global Pricing Team – part of the Commercial Centre of Excellence – to develop and embed smarter, more effective pricing strategies across our worldwide operations.

You like to bring order and structure as we are building up and introducing our value-based pricing methodology across the wider organization, helping to stabilize systems & data. You have an analytical mindset and like to make sense of data & find underlying patterns and stories. You are proactive, pragmatic, and excited to be part of a hands-on team with a true can-do spirit.

In this role, your focus will be on identifying data sources and collecting & managing data inputs for our Value-Based Pricing program. You support the Regional Pricing Managers across EMEA, APAC, and South America in rolling out our new pricing software across our organization. Next to that, you support with implementing reporting KPIs and dashboards for performance management – identifying opportunities, helping commercial teams unlock real value through smarter pricing, and tracking and measuring achieved margin uplifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect crucial data inputs from stakeholders across functions and regions – ranging from procurement to logistics to finance to sales teams.
• Structure data & ensure data management for our new pricing solution is done in the most efficient manner.
• Support the team in developing & continuously improving pricing analytics & reporting in Power BI – initially focusing on achieved margin uplifts, target margin improvement opportunities, and tool adoption.
• Jointly with the Regional Pricing Managers, onboard countries and divisions into value-based pricing – especially with collecting & setting up logistics & warehousing data – and support in Performance Reviews for live countries.
• Act as an admin for our new pricing platform: maintain price waterfall components, test new functionality, and support in continuous improvement.

What Success Looks Like

• Successfully collecting all required data inputs prior to country go-lives from local stakeholders, on time and in full, in alignment with local stakeholders (e.g., Logistics).
• Managing and controlling PriceFX backend data tables, ensuring accuracy of data.
• Jointly with the Pricing Managers, set up and fill the simulation tooling used to define Target Margins.
• Local stakeholders across functions see you as a trusted pricing partner.
• Finding ways to continuously improve data management and reduce reliance on individual data inputs / automate data collection and maintenance.

About You

What You Bring to the Table

• Energized and flexible early-career data professional (0–2 years) with the ability to identify relevant data sources and translate them into clear, meaningful insights.
• Collaborative communicator who thrives in an international, cross-functional environment and expresses ideas effectively.
• Proactive, adaptable, and hands-on, with strong prioritization skills and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work, and tackle issues with common sense.
• Resourceful problem solver with a positive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine, human touch and fun spirit, even during busy times.
• Ability to contribute to defining solutions and structure in a fast-moving environment with moving pieces.
• Familiarity with CPQ systems and PO&M implementations is beneficial.
• Experience with tools like Power BI, VBA, or Python is a plus.
• You are fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are an asset in this multicultural role.
• Willingness for some limited travel when required.
