We are seeking 1 Field Engineer (FE) to be dispatched on-site to assist with hardware troubleshooting, specifically to perform a node reseat on a Rubrik appliance. The task involves safely powering down the node, reseating it within the chassis, and restoring normal operation as per provided steps.
Scope of Work:The Field Engineer will be responsible for performing a node reseat due to a 12VSB sensor reporting Low Non-Recoverable status.
Task Steps:- Power off the affected node
- Disconnect all attached cables
- Remove the node from the chassis
- Wait approximately 15 seconds
- Reinsert the node securely
- Reconnect all cables
- Power on the node and confirm status
