What You Will Be Working On
- Partner with cross-functional agile teams comprising Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to gather business requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Collaborate with government agencies to deliver high-quality software systems
- Contribute to the adoption of relevant, up-to-date technologies, practices, and tools across the modern software development lifecycle
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality
- Engage in regular tech-sharing and solutioning sessions
- Experience working on large-scale, high-availability software systems operating in production
- Hands-on experience with modern full-stack web technologies; experience with Next.js/React.js on the frontend and Java/Kotlin on the backend is preferred
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
- Experience using cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools
- Strong proficiency in writing comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools, particularly the ELK stack, AWS CloudWatch, and Splunk
