Booking.com for Business is a travel product designed for the needs of small and medium size enterprises. It lets companies book and manage business trips — stays, flights, and car rental — in one place. Our primary users are business owners, travel managers and business travellers who need a simple, policy-compliant way to organise and manage their trips. We provide additional business-oriented functionality on top of the core Booking.com benefit offering - loyalty programmes, 24/7 customer support, etc.
The product is built in partnership with Serko Ltd. as a white-label solution based on their platform Zeno, meaning we design Booking.com-branded experiences on top of Serko’s technology. In this setting our team is responsible for customer acquisition and creates connection points between Booking.com and Booking.com for Business, adapting existing Booking.com capabilities to the business travel context. As a Designer II you'll be partnering with product, tech and marketing stakeholders within and outside of our team to attract, activate and retain more small and medium business customers on our platform.
Key specifics of our team are:
- Focus on rapid experimentation and general agility in order to find and benefit from available opportunities;
- Work on the intersection of marketing and product development that requires a broad designer skillset;
- Need to interact with various parts of the business in order to find and engage with the right opportunities to bring more customers to our platform.
A successful candidate for our designer positions area will

- Design end-to-end user flows and UI solutions based on business needs and customer insights
- Produce related UI and UX assets and relevant documentation
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Research, Writing, Marketing and Engineering team members in conceiving design approaches, iterating/validating designs, and executing holistic, quality design solutions
- Work with our design system team and components
- Work with data analysts and internal tools to experiment and validate your proposed solutions
- 1-3 years of experience designing production-level, high-quality assets for web products and native mobile apps
- Solid knowledge of mobile and web UI design methods, utilization of accessibility practices and design systems, and related the principles, concepts, and theories of product design
- A successful track record of designing and shipping projects as evidenced in resume and portfolio
- Large corporate software product and design development preferred
- Expertise in core design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, and familiarity with corporate collaboration and communication tools and software
- Informing design approach and solutions based on customer insights garnered from quantitative and qualitative data and on business priorities
- Strong communication, influence, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Specialized skills such as visual design, information architecture, animation, systems design, brand implementation a plus
- Experience working on a product spanning across multiple cultures / languages a plus
- Thriving in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, collaborative environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred, but may be substituted with work experience
