What The Role Is

MAS’ Data Analytics & Engineering Division (DAE) is a specialised team within the Data Technology and Architecture (DTA) Department within the Technology Group (TG) in MAS.

DAE’s primary purpose is to partner internal MAS functions to generate business value through the enablement of effective and efficient use of data driven insights for business value creation. This is achieved through effective strategies, strong in-house development capability, standardization of processes, tooling enablement, establishing a product development mindset, promoting knowledge sharing within MAS and complementary external collaborations.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Lead advanced data science projects using sophisticated techniques to uncover insights, refine problem statements to solve challenges and deliver business value
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge machine learning models, including generative AI, for specific business domains
  • Build web applications powered by machine learning and generative AI models, transitioning from proof-of-concept to production
  • Collaborate on cloud application architecture, contribute design and implementation
  • Conduct business analysis to recommend solutions for complex problems, utilising Agile methodologies for project delivery
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, from roadmap development to market launch, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery


What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis
  • Proficiency in Python with familiarity in frontend frameworks
  • Strong understanding of complex machine learning algorithms, including generative AI, and their practical implementation
  • Extensive experience in data wrangling, advanced analytical techniques, and statistical techniques
  • Current knowledge in machine learning techniques and familiarity with relevant tools and open-source libraries
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and cloud computing concepts and services
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse business problems and develop effective solutions
  • Experience in product management, including go-to-market strategies and lifecycle management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest developments in data science and machine learning
