We’re working with a profitable, fast-growing sports trading technology company, founded ~18 months ago and already scaled to 13 engineers.

They provide real-time odds, liquidity, and execution systems used by hedge funds and professional trading firms. The business is now scaling from an API-led product into a full trading platform - think “Bloomberg for sports trading”.

They’ve hired 4 engineers in recent weeks, demand continues to grow, and Golang is the most urgent hire right now.

The Role for the Backend Engineer - Go | Core Platform | High-Performance Sports Trading Start-up | Flexible work culture and remote working, ideally a London presence | Salary £75-95k base + Stock options

You’ll join the core platform team, building and scaling backend systems that must be fast, resilient, and always-on.

• Build and own Go services at the heart of the platform
• Design low-latency APIs and real-time data pipelines
• Work with PostgreSQL and high-volume event processing
• Help evolve the product from API → full platform
• Take real ownership in a senior, high-trust engineering team
