Our client is seeking the expertise and skills of a Project Engineer to work on roads, bridge, rail, earthworks and general civil projects that they have recently won in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley areas. The projects are going to keep you in the area with continued flow on work to keep you employed in the region going forward.

This civil contractor is a well established civil construction business employing people across the country with over a $100m worth of present projects. With a strong focus on civil engineering, our client maintains its diversity through their involvement in other projects such as roads, bridge, rail, marine and earth-moving.

Our client is a dedicated individual with previous road, rail, earthwork, bridgework or complex civil infrastructure experience to work on a project with an emphasis on major civil infrastructure works, this is a rare opportunity not to be missed. The project will see you secure and you will have guaranteed further employment with the client.

To be considered for this role it is vital that you have the following skills:

• A Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Worked on civil projects worth over $10m in value
• Previously worked on major earthworks or bridgeworks on heavy civil projects
• Strong leadership skills
• High level of organisation
• Be able to work and communicate as part of a team
• Exceptional understanding of OH&S policies
• Ability to think and react quickly to any difficulties which may arise in the workplace
