A large federal government organisation is undertaking a significant technology uplift to deliver modern, fit-for-purpose digital solutions. An experienced EL1-equivalent Scrum Master is required to support delivery within a complex, enterprise-scale ICT environment, with a strong focus on Salesforce-based platforms.



As the Scrum Master, you will act as a leader within an Agile delivery environment, supporting squads to deliver high-quality outcomes while embedding best-practice Agile and DevOps ways of working. You will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and release leadership to drive consistent, predictable delivery across Salesforce solutions.



Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
  • Contribute to broader release and program increment activities as directed by release leadership
  • Act as a servant leader, mentoring squads to improve maturity, delivery capability and team performance
  • Manage and maintain squad delivery backlogs, supporting sprint and release planning
  • Identify and remove blockers, escalating risks and issues where required
  • Support the implementation of CI/CD, Agile and DevOps practices in a maturing environment
  • Build strong working relationships with technical teams, business stakeholders and delivery partners
  • Promote continuous improvement, constructive feedback and sustainable delivery practices


Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • 3–5 years’ ICT industry experience in a technical leadership role with strong knowledge of Agile, SAFe SDLC and end-to-end software delivery
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Scrum Master delivering Salesforce-based solutions
  • Scrum Master certification
  • Proven experience coaching teams in Agile methodologies, tools and practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead by example
  • Demonstrated capability in facilitation, conflict resolution and continuous improvement


Desirable:

  • An interest in accessibility and inclusive digital design, with enthusiasm for accessible development practices
