Project
The Scrum Master (Learning and Development) plays a key role in establishing and embedding Agile ways of working within the Learning and Development (L&D) function. The role will lead the development of a fit for purpose Agile delivery framework to support both business-as-usual learning programs and project-based incentives
Accountabilities
- Design, establish and embed an Agile delivery framework tailored for learning and capability development projects.
- Set up and facilitate core Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Upskill and coach key L&D staff to enable them to take on future Scrum Master or Agile delivery roles.
- Partner with product owners and functional leads to develop and prioritise delivery backlogs aligned to strategic learning outcomes.
- Provide strategic advice to leadership on Agile delivery mode.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in establishing Agile frameworks and embedding them in a new or evolving Learning and Development function.
- Familiarity with Instructional Design methodologies (e.g. ADDIE, Agile Development Model (including SAM - Successive Approximation Model), Waterfall).
- Expertise in Agile facilitation, coaching and capability uplift.
- Experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Led or Agile Coach in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Proven success in coaching and developing staff to build sustainable Agile capability
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft 365 Applications or equivalent for backlog and sprint tracking
