Ready to own a cloud platform instead of just keeping the lights on?

Step into a role where you set the AWS strategy, lead multiple engineering squads, and build a banking-grade cloud platform that teams love to use. Hybrid working, Tallinn-based, with real ownership and influence from day one.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll take full product ownership of an AWS platform, treating it as a critical internal product, not just infrastructure. You’ll define the roadmap, prioritise what matters most, and balance speed, security, reliability, and cost in a highly regulated financial environment.

You’ll lead around 20–25 engineers, DevOps and cloud specialists across multiple squads, supported by delivery and project leadership. Your focus won’t be micromanagement, it’ll be setting direction, removing blockers, and creating a culture where teams take real ownership and continuously improve.

Day to day, you’ll work on things that genuinely move the needle: improving developer experience through self-service and golden paths, strengthening observability and automation, reducing incidents and MTTR, and making sure the platform is always audit-ready. You’ll also own cloud cost management, partnering closely with Finance to make spend predictable, transparent, and optimised.

You’ll be the bridge between engineering, risk, security, architecture, and senior stakeholders, translating complex technical topics into clear decisions, keeping conversations calm, and making sure expectations are aligned. If you enjoy being trusted to run a platform end-to-end, this is where you’ll thrive.

The company:

You’ll be joining a large, digitally focused bank operating across the Baltics. Technology and cloud platforms are central to how the business delivers secure, modern financial services, and this role plays a key part in strengthening cloud maturity, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance across the organisation.

What you need:

You’ve spent several years owning or shaping a cloud platform in AWS, ideally within financial services or another highly regulated environment. You’re comfortable making trade-offs between innovation, risk, and reliability, and you know modern DevOps and SRE practices inside out.

You’re also confident leading multiple teams, challenging engineers constructively, and working closely with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
