We are looking for motivated students who are finalising their studies or recent graduates to join our AI & Data Team as an AI & Data Advisory Trainee in Helsinki.



We would like you to start your 4-month Trainee period in August 2026. Our goal is that as many Trainees as possible continue with us also after the Trainee period or after graduating.

Your role



As a AI & Data Advisory Trainee you will be valued part of the team in our varied client assignments where data is utilized in decision making. Your tasks can include, for example finding out the customer's business needs and conducting workshops with the customer on the use cases of AI & data utilization that support them, analyzing the maturity level of customers current AI & data utilization capability, developing strategies for organizations to become data-driven, developing the data management operating model, and helping to develop the target state for customers data and technology capabilities.

Based on your background you can contribute also to other areas including data analysis, data visualization, data wrangling and AI implementation tasks as well as get to know the agile ways of working. We can promise your learning curve at Deloitte to be steep, we will provide you with both relevant trainings as well as experience and insight from interesting ongoing projects with active support from your own buddy, coach and the whole AI & Data team.

What do we hope from you?



Do you have the passion for working in close co-operation with business, developing data strategies, data-driven insights and governance models with a relaxed and motivated team? Would you like to deepen your knowledge on AI & Data management and strategies with the prospect of being a consultant in the area? Then you’d probably fit well in our team!



To succeed in this role, we wish you have:

• A recent master’s degree or ongoing master studies from relevant field (for example information and knowledge management, data strategy, economics, data science, statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, etc.)
• Understanding of business strategy, information management understanding, general interest in technology, problem solving and negotiation skills
• Familiarity and skills related to data exploration and/or data science – including hands-on experiences with at least one of Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SQL
• Enthusiasm to work with others, both with colleagues and clients
• Drive to develop your management consulting skills and strategic thinking
• Fluent language skills in English (fluency in Finnish language is seen as plus as Finnish skills are required to work with our clients in Finnish government and public sector) 

In addition, the following while not necessary, would be considered a strong advantage:

• Previous work experience from similar position or consultative capacity
• Experience of working with as well as interest to learn cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP

To be considered for this Trainee position, a prerequisite is that you are currently allowed to work in Finland, holding a valid residence permit if required.
