A market-leading software development company are looking to hire an Information Security Manager in Berlin. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in office per week.

The business develop software solutions to help their customers optimise the flow of energy & materials, with the goal of making them more renewable, sustainable and efficient.

The ideal candidate will have a technical background, and ideally have worked in another software development company (however not essential). You will need to have fully implemented and rolled out SOC 2 before, have experience creating and designing ISMS systems, plus have knowledge around ISO27001 and TISAX.

You'll be reviewing tool requests from a security perspective, designing processes and executing them, designing and improving business continuity management and coordinating customer audits. Knowledge within security risk management, security compliance and governance, and cloud security will be very beneficial.

Strong communication skills are a must, you'll be collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholder. German-speaking skills are a big bonus, as a minimum, you will need the desire to learn German.

You'll be joining the business in an exciting transformation phase, reporting directly into the CISO, who is genuinely interested and motivated to advance you in your career. Due to this transformation you also have access to lots of greenfield projects.

The security team is the companies license to be in business, and is fully supported by both the CEO and CTO. The team has strong budgets, and is backed to make changes throughout the company.

This position can be hired at various levels, so the salary range is from 70k - 110k. Training & development budget here is very strong.
