Front End Developer - React
Dublin (Hybrid)
Salary: €70 - 80K plus benefits
A well-established organisation operating in the financial services sector is expanding its digital engineering team and is hiring a talented React Developer. The company builds secure, high-performance online platforms and is currently investing in modern UI architecture and new product development.
The role
As a React Developer, you will work on customer-facing web applications and contribute to an exciting greenfield project, helping to build modern user interfaces from the ground up. This is a hands-on role with strong collaboration across backend, UX, and product teams.
Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using React.
Contribute to a greenfield front-end platform using best-in-class UI architecture.
Work closely with backend developers, UX designers, and product stakeholders.
Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices.
Support continuous improvement of front-end standards, tooling, and performance.
5+ years' experience as a React Developer working on production web applications.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML5, and CSS.
Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating with backend services.
Familiarity with modern front-end tooling, build pipelines, and Git-based workflows.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Nice to have:
Experience with Next.js, state management libraries, UI testing frameworks, accessibility standards, CI/CD pipelines, or experience within regulated or financial services environments.
