Information about the position

We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help evolve and scale a Kubernetes infrastructure that consists of more than ~1200 physical servers in 4 data centers and multiple regions. As part of the Production Engineering team, you’ll work with us on developing and maintaining on-premises Kubernetes infrastructure. In this position, you’ll

Build, maintain, improve, and scale our Kubernetes platform, which supports over 40K running pods.
Write code to automate manual processes
Assist Vinted engineers in developing performance, secure, and scalable applications
Identify opportunities for improvement in our infrastructure and build solutions to implement them
Monitor and debug problems in production to meet established SLO's
Collaborate with the team on other infrastructure projects
Participate in an on-call rotation within the team every ~6th week.

About You

Experience with Kubernetes
Good knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking
Programming experience preferably with Go and Ruby languages
A curious and responsible individual who wants to learn and master concepts and technologies we use
Interested in building non-standard, reliable, and scalable solutions on our own on-premises infrastructure
