Job Description: IT Administrator

Riga, Latvia


We are looking for a Level 2/3 Technical Support Specialist who has a proven experience in resolving issues related to internal systems, checking logs, fixing errors, working with databases, escalating issues to developers when bugs are discovered along with Business Analyst experience in gathering requirements, formulating them for your work, and designing a solution algorithm.

This will be a fixed term contract (Maternity cover) with the possibility of becoming permanent.


Responsibilities:

  • Understanding how the billing system itself and related services work
  • Writing analytical queries and validating data
  • Connecting the billing system to other company services (for example, CRM)
  • Optimizing queries and their execution time
  • Ability to work with databases that store information about customers, services, and traffic
  • Consulting users on technical issues
  • In-depth problem analysis


Required skills:

  • Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB databases knowledge
  • SQL, PL/SQL (packages and procedures), MQL, Bash, PowerShell, Git, any issue tracker
  • XML, XSLT, Perl (reading and parsing scripts)
  • Working experience with Billing systems, CRM systems, integrations between services, working with logs, query profiling
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, ability, and willingness to work with data, stress resistance, analytical thinking
