Project Manager


Position Context:

As part of ongoing transformation initiatives, we are looking for a Project Manager to lead and deliver projects involving multiple stakeholders and technical environments. You will be responsible for ensuring successful project execution from planning through delivery, while maintaining strong governance, quality standards, and alignment with business objectives.



Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Ensure project outcomes meet agreed expectations of customers and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal teams as well as external partners, consultants, or service providers.
  • Secure the necessary resources and support continuous development and engagement of project team members.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, monitor progress, and provide clear and reliable status reporting.
  • Contribute to functional and technical working groups, including progress and coordination meetings.

Budgeting, Governance & Quality

  • Estimate costs, schedules, and resource needs in line with project objectives and scope.
  • Track budgets, timelines, and capacity, and implement corrective actions when deviations are identified.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards, policies, and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define project strategies, structure tasks and deliverables, and manage risks, issues, and status reporting.
  • Set project objectives and oversee quality assurance across all phases of delivery.



Desired Profile:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in process analysis, evaluation, and recommendation activities.
  • Certification in PMP and/or PRINCE2.
  • Lean Management certification is considered an asset.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Pragmatic approach with a strong focus on customer needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce detailed documentation and deliver structured presentations.
  • Proactive, adaptable, organized, and quality-driven mindset.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively and make informed decisions.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.

Technical & Functional Exposure:

  • Experience in IT project management, application architecture, and IT service operations.
  • Good understanding of modern information system architectures, including multi-tier applications and infrastructure components.
  • Exposure to cloud migration initiatives.
  • General familiarity with technologies such as Azure, Linux, security concepts, networking, Office 365, Exchange, and SFTP.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • French may be required depending on the assignment.
