Senior PHP Developer - PHP, Laravel, AWS - Amsterdam

Ready to take full technical ownership and elevate a complex back-office system processing significant invoice flows with modern PHP and Laravel? My client is an established player in the Dutch construction sector, automating purchasing processes, invoice flows, and contract calculations. You will be a crucial link in their compact tech team working with the latest PHP and Laravel, running on Laravel Forge with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.

Your role:

As a Senior PHP Developer, you will have end-to-end responsibility for developing the central back-office platform. You will work with colleagues and the Product Owner to translate business requirements into robust code, expand the existing system, and build new products such as a price comparison tool and invoice verification tool. You will have freedom to make technical choices and influence the architecture.

Your profile:

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• At least 2+ years of professional experience with PHP
• Demonstrable experience with Laravel (version 9+ is a plus)
• Able to independently translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Engineering mindset and ability to quickly master new technologies

Furthermore:

• Experience with cloud technology (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Thrive in a dynamic environment and bring structure
• Willing to work at least 3 days a week at the office in Amsterdam

• Base salary up to €85,000 per year
