Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

We’re HN Services, and we’re on the hunt for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Porto. If you’re passionate about designing scalable systems, automating infrastructure, and keeping services highly available and reliable, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design and maintain scalable, highly available systems to support critical applications.
• Automate deployments, monitoring, and infrastructure management to boost efficiency.
• Create dashboards and alerts with tools like ELK, Grafana, and DataDog for proactive monitoring.
• Lead troubleshooting and incident management in production environments.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Ensure system security and performance in Linux and Windows environments.
• Analyze logs to enhance stability and prevent downtime.
• Plan for future scalability using monitoring and analytics tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Development teams to uphold reliability best practices.

What You’ll Need (Hard Skills):

• At least 6 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or similar role.
• Strong expertise with Linux and/or Windows systems.
• Proficiency with performance monitoring and visualization tools (ELK, Grafana, DataDog, Zabbix, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, XL Deploy/Release, Bitbucket).
• Solid experience with application logs analysis and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and automation frameworks (e.g., Azure is a big plus).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Loadrunner, Neoload) is a bonus.
