We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React, Next.js, and modern frontend architectures to build high-performance, scalable, and user-centric web applications. The ideal candidate has deep experience in component-based design, state management, and advanced UI patterns such as Server-Driven UI (SDUI) and real-time communication.

This role follows a hybrid model (1 day per week on-site) in Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra and requires fluent English and Portuguese.

• Design, develop, and maintain modern frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and optimize application performance.
• Build and maintain reusable UI components following component-based architecture.
• Integrate real-time communication using WebSocket and Server-Sent Events (SSE).
• Apply Server-Driven UI (SDUI) patterns to render dynamic UI from backend-driven schemas.
• Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to ensure consistent and scalable solutions.
• Follow accessibility standards and responsive design best practices.
• Work within Agile environments, using tools such as Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• 5+ years of frontend development experience with ReactJS and strong expertise in Redux.
• 2+ years of experience with Next.js and server-side rendering (SSR) concepts.
• Proficiency in Node.js.
• Hands-on experience integrating WebSocket and/or Server-Sent Events (SSE).
• Solid experience in component-based architecture and building reusable UI components.
• Strong experience with Server-Driven UI (SDUI) patterns.
• Familiarity with chat prompt design patterns and conversational UI paradigms (e.g., AI assistants, inline feedback, user input formats).
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design.
• Experience working in Agile environments with Jira, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
