As Kron, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer for our Istanbul or Izmir office.

General Description

A DevOps Engineer acts as a bridge between software development and operations teams, ensuring that applications are developed, tested, and deployed to production environments in a secure, scalable, and reliable manner. The role is responsible for process automation, system monitoring, and the continuous improvement of infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines
• Automate application and infrastructure deployments
• Set up and manage cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Manage the application lifecycle using container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Monitor system performance, security, and availability
• Establish and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Analyze system incidents and conduct root cause analysis
• Implement security, backup, and disaster recovery processes
• Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize workflows and processes

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working with at least one cloud platform
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.)
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Basic understanding of networking, security, and system architecture
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architectures
• Knowledge of security and DevSecOps practices
