Job Purpose

The Technical Product Manager transforms business requirements into actionable features, guiding product development from concept to launch and ensuring close collaboration with engineering teams. This role is pivotal in building innovative, user-centric products in blockchain and virtual assets, acting as the primary bridge between business and technology. The manager is responsible for aligning products with organizational goals, delivering solutions that anticipate client needs, and facilitating clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless product delivery and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion ownership of product quality and drive best-in-class standards with hands-on leadership.
• Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable product features aligned to strategic vision.
• Define and own the product roadmap, prioritizing development in line with business goals and market trends.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle, closely partnering with engineering teams for feature design and timely launches.
• Design intuitive user interfaces and robust APIs for third-party integrations to maximize user engagement.
• Deliver professional product training to stakeholders, demonstrating features and value propositions.
• Act as the principal liaison among engineering, design, operations, and external partners to drive alignment.
• Serve as gatekeeper to ensure all shipped products meet defined quality and requirement standards.
• Cultivate customer-focused innovation by gathering feedback, identifying pain points, and delivering solutions that increase adoption and retention.
• Manage both business and technical communications with clients, supporting smooth sandbox-to-go-live transitions.
• Leverage industry insights and technical expertise in all stakeholder communication and product solutions.
• Develop operational workflows and train Operations staff, ensuring clarity in product delivery and user benefits.

Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Desirable: Blockchain/Virtual Asset certifications, Product Management certifications (CPM, Pragmatic CPM), or Financial Knowledge certifications (CFA, FRM).

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years in related industries, with at least 5 years in Product Management roles.
• Background in payments, financial technology, blockchain, or virtual asset sectors is highly preferred.

Technical Competencies:

• In-depth understanding of blockchain and digital asset technologies, including crypto payments, lending, yield, trading, custody, wallets, compliance, and risk management solutions.
• Skilled in technical specifications, prototyping, technical documentation, and operational workflow design.
• Knowledgeable about the regulatory landscape affecting digital assets.
• Proficient in modern API design (REST, GraphQL, webhooks), and familiar with DevOps and CI/CD processes.
• Competent in data analysis, using insights to drive product strategy and outcomes; comfortable with SQL/BI tools.
• Hands-on experience with wireframing and product mockup tools (Figma, Axure, Miro, Whimsical).
• Able to write clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, maintaining high standards for documentation.
