A multi-international consultancy company are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our team in East Africa - Ethiopia for an exciting International Airport project. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and ensuring timely project delivery within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project schedules, timelines, and milestones using (Specify Software, e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project).
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Identify potential risks, delays, or issues and recommend solutions to keep the project on track.
- Optimize resource allocation and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Analyze project performance and suggest improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Min. 7 years of experience in planning and scheduling for construction projects, particularly Airports projects.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Proven expertise in FIDIC contracts and their application in projects.
- Professional in English language.
