Planning Engineer

A multi-international consultancy company are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our team in East Africa - Ethiopia for an exciting International Airport project. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and ensuring timely project delivery within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed project schedules, timelines, and milestones using (Specify Software, e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project).
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Identify potential risks, delays, or issues and recommend solutions to keep the project on track.
• Optimize resource allocation and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Analyze project performance and suggest improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Min. 7 years of experience in planning and scheduling for construction projects, particularly Airports projects.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Proven expertise in FIDIC contracts and their application in projects.
• Professional in English language.
