Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager – DevOps Engineer.

In this role, a DevOps engineer will optimize its software development and deployment processes. This role is crucial for implementing efficient DevOps practices, which involve automating workflows, managing infrastructure, and ensuring seamless integration across critical functions. The primary responsibility of the DevOps engineer is to apply DevOps expertise to automate workflows, enhance system reliability, and support continuous integration and delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure management: Act as the primary contact for DevOps initiatives, representing the team in cross-functional and leadership forums. Drive infrastructure strategy and planning aligned with regional business objectives, ensuring system reliability and performance targets are met.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Build and maintain automated pipelines that compile, test, and deploy code to various environments.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage and provision infrastructure (servers, networks) through code, using tools like Terraform or Ansible to ensure consistency.
  • Automation: Automate repetitive tasks like deployments, backups, and system updates using scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to improve efficiency.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Set up systems to monitor application and infrastructure performance and health and collect logs to quickly identify and resolve issues.
  • Cloud Management: Manage resources and services on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Containerization: Use tools like Docker and Kubernetes to package and orchestrate applications for consistent and scalable deployment.
  • DevSecOps: Integrate security practices directly into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure that applications are secure from the start.


Qualifications We Seek in You!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Extensive experience (3–5 years) in DevOps practices, preferably in a global or multinational environment.
  • Certification in relevant DevOps tools or methodologies is preferred


Preferred Qualifications / Skills

  • Experience in DevOps engineering with a strong understanding of automation and infrastructure management
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-specific software development processes, such as finance, healthcare, or technology
  • Proven experience in managing DevOps projects in complex environments, including global or multinational contexts
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git
  • Hands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline development and optimization
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) practices and security protocols across various streams
  • Experience with quality assurance processes to ensure software solutions meet defined standards
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for infrastructure hosting and collaboration
  • Experience with agile practices to enhance software delivery efficiency.
