Role: ServiceNow Scrum Master-Agile

Location: Reading

Role Overview

The ServiceNow Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile processes for ServiceNow development teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, and driving continuous improvement. This role acts as a servant leader, enabling the team to deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach Agile Practices: Guide the team and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum principles and best practices.
• Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve blockers to ensure smooth progress of development activities.
• Collaborate with Product Owner: Assist in backlog prioritization and ensure clarity of user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor Progress: Track sprint metrics (velocity, burndown charts) and report progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure Compliance: Align development activities with ServiceNow platform standards and organizational governance.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Coordinate Across Teams: Work with other Scrum Masters and teams for dependency management and integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• proven experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years in ServiceNow projects.
• Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent; ITIL Foundation preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, Event Management).
• Agile Expertise: Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
• Communication: Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Tools: Familiarity with ServiceNow Agile Development, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale ServiceNow implementations.
• Knowledge of scripting and ServiceNow customization.
