Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and microservices architecture
- Build secure, reliable, and scalable APIs and backend processes for enterprise-grade applications
- Implement new products, features, and platform enhancements using agile development methodologies
- Ensure system performance and responsiveness at scale, supporting global user growth and high-availability requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, security, and frontend engineering to define requirements and deliver solutions
- Integrate with blockchain and other financial technologies while maintaining best-in-class security standards
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and participate in on-call rotations if required
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript, with experience in backend development of complex platforms
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)
- Solid understanding of security best practices and application-level protections
- Experience in blockchain integration and high-availability systems is a plus
- Knowledge of other languages such as Ruby, Rust, or C++ is beneficial
- Experience with message queues, caches, and job queue systems (e.g., Redis)
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to learn new technologies quickly
