Our state government client Is looking for a highly skilled, motivated Senior Backend Developer, with extensive knowledge of AWS Cloud Services, skilled in, CDK, Python OR Ruby.
Reporting to the Manager Spatial Maintenance Applications , you will play a critical part in the development of an automated Property Development Pipeline, integrated with the NSW Planning Portal, CadNSW systems, third-party Digitisation Service, and the Spatial Collaboration Portal.
The successful candidate will work closely with the product team and a second Senior Developer to deliver the Digital NSW Housing Pipeline; a unified, real-time 3D digital dataset that enhances housing supply forecasting, emergency response, and infrastructure planning across NSW.
The Role:
To develop a high-performance, automated and integrated systems solution to deliver the Digital NSW Housing Pipeline to create a scalable 3D dataset that centralises housing development data to support accelerated housing supply in alignment with the NSW Housing Crisis strategy.You must have FME Integration experience
Key Skills
• Extensive knowledge of AWS Cloud Services, incl. Lamba Functions, API Gateways, S3 Buckets, DynamoDB, SQS.
• Python and Ruby programming knowledge and experience.
• JavaScript/TypeScript programming knowledge and experience preferred.
• Experience with Infrastructure as a Code preferred AWS CDK.
• Git (preferred BitBucket) knowledge and experience preferred.
• FME Integration experience preferred.
• Tertiary qualifications with bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to effectively work as part of a technical development team and lead technical decisions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and eye for detail.
• Knowledge of CadNSW and Digitised Plan formats.
Location-CBD
Daily rate-$1000+super
Duration- 10 months +Possible extension
