I’m helping Ballpoint Marketing, LLC find a top candidate to join their team full-time for the role of Senior Full-Stack Web Developer: Shopify Plus, AI, and Custom API Integration Expert.

Responsibilities and more:

You will be responsible for helping us maintain and add new features to our current website and process flow, including but not limited to an entire new site creation, implementing API's and tracking for our customers, gamification, and automations into our direct mail system. Direct knowledge with shopify plus is a must as our site is currently hosted there.

Our sister company will also need help building a call center platform for our agents to utilize that will be managed by you and our team.

* Senior-level full-stack web developer with 5–8+ years of experience.

* Expert in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

* Strong React experience, preferably with Next.js.

* Advanced responsive UI/UX development skills.

* Proficient with Tailwind CSS or similar modern CSS frameworks.

* Backend development with Node.js (Express or NestJS) and/or PHP (Laravel).

* Design and development of REST and GraphQL APIs.

* Expert in API integrations, including building and consuming APIs.

* Experience with webhooks, background jobs, and event-driven systems.

* Database design and management with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

* Implementation of authentication systems (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).

* Shopify Plus production store experience.

* Shopify Liquid templating and development.

* Knowledge of Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs.

* Development of Shopify Functions and custom checkout extensions.

* Headless Shopify development and custom Shopify app creation.

* Stripe API integration.

* Integration of CRM and financial platforms such as HubSpot and QuickBooks.

* AI implementation, including OpenAI/LLMs, prompt engineering, and production use.

* AI-powered automation and workflow development.

* Familiarity with vector databases and RAG systems (preferred).

* Experience with Zapier/Make and building custom solutions when needed.

* Git-based version control using GitHub or GitLab.

* CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment workflows.

* Docker fundamentals.

* Cloud hosting experience (AWS, Vercel, or similar platforms).

* Performance optimization and monitoring.

* Web security best practices, including API security, RBAC, and rate limiting.

* Ability to manage and prioritize projects across multiple companies.

* Experience collaborating directly with founders and executives.
