About the Company


We are working with a rapidly growing software company operating at the intersection of technology and biotechnology. Their platforms support cutting-edge biotech workflows, enabling scientists and businesses to move faster, smarter, and more efficiently. As they continue to scale, they are looking to strengthen the development team with an experienced and adaptable Python Developer.


The Role


As a Python Developer, you will work across the full A–Z of the development lifecycle. From understanding requirements and designing solutions to building, testing, deploying, and maintaining software, you will play a key role in delivering robust, high-quality applications used in a biotech context.

You will collaborate closely with other developers, product stakeholders, and domain experts, contributing both technically and conceptually as the company grows.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications
  • Work across the full software development lifecycle, from concept to production
  • Translate business and scientific requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and code quality standards
  • Debug, optimize, and improve existing systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
  • Take ownership of features and deliver them end-to-end


Your Profile

  • Strong experience as a Python Developer in a professional environment
  • Comfortable working across the full A–Z of the development process
  • Adaptable, hands-on, and able to thrive in a fast-growing company
  • Experience with modern development practices (version control, testing, CI/CD)
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willing and able to work from the St-Niklaas office at least 3 days per week


Nice to Have

  • Experience in biotech, life sciences, or a regulated environment
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, data processing, or scientific software
  • Experience working in scaling or startup environments
  • Experience within AI or Computer Vision
