But it's an operation often built on manual processes and legacy systems, meaning high-stress for operators, an unreliable experience for seafarers, and poor outcomes for the industry. That is until Tilla enters the scene.

Role And Daily Responsibilities

As a UI/UX Designer, you’ll help evolve and maintain our product’s design systems and user experience while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

🎨 Visual Design system

  • Maintain and improve the current design system
  • Ensure visual consistency and scalability across products
  • Expand documentation for design components

🧭 Product Design initiatives

  • Take ownership of end-to-end UX flows and do detailed design QA
  • Understand the complexity of crew logistics to deliver the best UX possible
  • Support definition of new product concepts and assist in user research
  • Contribute to product enhancements that improve usability and clarity

📣 Product Marketing initiatives

  • Support creation of demo materials, product explainers, and feature release decks
  • Refresh and maintain templates to support faster delivery

You should have

  • 3-4 years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally in a product-led B2B SaaS company.
  • A passion for absorbing and simplifying complex, information-dense workflows.
  • A strong desire to understand your user and contribute to usability testing or user research.
  • Strong skills in interaction design, UX, and UI with high attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in contributing to and maintaining design systems.
  • Experience or interest in early-stage or growth-stage startups.
  • Collaborative mindset, comfort in working closely with product and engineering teams.
  • Fluency in English.
