We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Talent Acquisition & HR Generalist to support our growing organisation in Germany. This dual role combines strategic recruitment expertise with operational HR responsibilities, ensuring a seamless employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle. With 5–7 years of experience, you bring maturity, independence, and the ability to partner confidently with managers across the business.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (50%)

  • Own the full recruitment cycle for roles across Germany — from intake briefing to offer stage.
  • Advise hiring managers on job requirements, market insights, and selection strategies.
  • Draft and publish compelling job postings across relevant platforms.
  • Conduct CV screening, interviews, and candidate assessments.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical roles.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience with timely communication and professionalism.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment partners when needed.
  • Track hiring metrics and provide regular reporting to leadership.

HR Generalist (50%)

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR topics.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including contract creation and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with German labour law (Arbeitsrecht).
  • Prepare and validate payroll‑relevant data in collaboration with external payroll providers.
  • Support performance management cycles, probation reviews, and employee development processes.
  • Handle employee relations topics with discretion, escalating complex cases appropriately.
  • Contribute to HR projects such as policy updates, engagement initiatives, and process optimisation.
  • Ensure GDPR‑compliant handling of employee data.


Requirements

Professional Experience

  • 5–7 years of combined experience in Talent Acquisition and HR Generalist roles.
  • Strong understanding of German labour law and HR operations.
  • Proven experience recruiting in the German market (technical, commercial, or operational roles).
  • Experience working in an international or fast‑growing environment is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with structure and discipline.
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Fluent spoken and written German and strong English skills.
