Elevate Partners are delighted to be partnered with a leading financial services firm in Dublin to appoint an experienced Full Stack Engineer with strong Python and React expertise.

This role offers the opportunity to work on business-critical platforms within a complex, regulated environment, alongside a high-calibre engineering team. You will contribute to the design and development of scalable, modern applications that support core financial services operations.

The Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will work across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to both backend and frontend development. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Python on the backend and React on the frontend
  

• Build scalable, high-performance APIs and services
  

• Translate business and product requirements into robust technical solutions
  

• Contribute to architecture and design decisions within a regulated environment
  

• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
  

• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  

• Support deployment, release, and operational stability
  

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or Software Engineer in a commercial environment
  

• Strong backend development experience with Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI or similar)
  

• Strong frontend development experience using React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript
  

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  

• Solid understanding of relational databases and data modelling
  

• Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within financial services or other regulated environments
  

• Exposure to containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
  

• Understanding of application security best practices
