We are looking for Junior / medior Java Backend Developer to join a fast-paced, high-performing development team for a well-known Bank in Luxembourg.

Missions

  • Participate in the delivery of production-ready features as part of cross-functional Scrum teams
  • Contribute to the definition, development, and deployment of innovative solutions that strengthen our software solution portfolio
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior developers in line with your expertise

Profile

  • You have between 3 to 5 years of experience as a Java backend developer, preferably in the financial sector
  • A deep understanding of Java and the surrounding ecosystem
  • Experience working with a selection of modern backend and frontend technologies (Hibernate, Spring, JavaScript, SQL, relational databases, jQuery)
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for open-source software
  • Angular experience is a welcome bonus
  • Familiarity with professional software development environments, tools, and methodologies, including version control, CI/CD, automated testing, and containerized deployments
  • Strong focus on writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested object-oriented code
  • Web design skills that enhance full-stack development capabilities
