We’re seeking a passionate individual to play a pivotal role in transforming how customers discover, explore, choose, and purchase products, both online and in-store. This is a unique opportunity to blend digital innovation with physical retail, designing intuitive platforms that empower co-workers and create truly seamless shopping experiences for customers across diverse product categories.
In this role, you will be instrumental in evolving a professional sales platform, streamlining workflows, and integrating critical features like quotation generation and in-store selling assistance. Your work will directly enhance customer satisfaction and co-worker efficiency, moving beyond purely digital experiences to create holistic solutions deeply connected to the physical retail environment. You’ll contribute to making the full product range accessible and easy to navigate, driving significant business value.
This is a 6-months salaried position, with the possibility for extension.

- PLEASE NOTE: Due to the contracting nature of this role, only candidates with the unrestricted right to work in The Netherlands will be considered.
- Design and develop experiences that enable customers to discover and explore the complete product offer, extending beyond what is physically displayed in stores.
- Create intuitive and seamless browsing, choosing, and purchasing journeys for customers, irrespective of how products are presented in the physical retail space.
- Empower co-workers by designing robust tools and experiences that facilitate efficient and confident presentation and sale of the full product range within specific categories.
- Lead with a strong focus on craft, applying expertise in UX design, concept development, and prototyping to bring innovative solutions to life.
- Utilize service design methodologies to map and optimize end-to-end customer and co-worker journeys across multiple touchpoints.
- Contribute to and leverage established design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across platforms.
- Navigate and simplify complex problem spaces, translating intricate requirements into user-friendly designs.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, fostering a shared understanding and driving high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- Min. 4 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions within a retail environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in UX design, concept development, and prototyping.
- Strong background in service design, with the ability to map and optimize complex user journeys.
- Solid technical understanding relevant to digital product development.
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
- Proven ability to navigate and solve complex problem spaces.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- A required portfolio of previous work showcasing your design process and project outcomes.
