Audiovisual Network Specialist Advisor

We are seeking an Audiovisual Network Specialist Advisor to support the deployment and integration of Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) systems and Audiovisual over IP (AVoIP) technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Validate Network Requirements and Security:

• Collaborate with the network team to ensure the existing infrastructure can support MTR devices and AV systems.
• Define and validate requirements for bandwidth, security, Quality of Service (QoS), and other performance metrics specific to audiovisual technologies.
• Ensure all configurations adhere to network security best practices and guidelines, including Microsoft Teams Room network security protocols.
• Address integration challenges to ensure MTR/AV systems work seamlessly within the existing network environment.

Configuration and Deployment of AV Systems:

• Collaborate with the AV technicians' team for the configuration, deployment, and testing of MTR devices (Windows and Android) and other AV systems.
• Optimize system settings and network to ensure reliable and high-quality user experiences for AV installations .

Research and Recommend AVoIP Solutions:

• Evaluation of network impact of AV over IP (AVoIP) protocols to determine the best fit for large-scale AV environments.
• Evaluate scalable and future-proof AVoIP solutions that meet the organization’s needs focusing on ease of integration and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement AVoIP solutions effectively.
• Optimize AVOIP settings and network to ensure reliable and high-quality user experiences

Collaboration and Communication:

• Act as a liaison between AV teams, IT teams, and network engineers to ensure the successful deployment of systems.
• Provide clear and concise documentation of AV requirements, configurations, and network-related prerequisites.
• Facilitate communication between teams to address potential challenges proactively.

Troubleshooting and Optimization:

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to MTR and AV system performance, working with relevant teams to address network-related impacts.
• Continuously optimize deployed systems to align with evolving organizational needs.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of audiovisual technologies and their integration within enterprise network environments.
• Experience deploying and managing Microsoft Teams Room devices.
• Knowledge of AV over IP (AVoIP) technologies and the ability to evaluate protocols for conferencing applications.
• Familiarity with network concepts like bandwidth management, QoS, and security protocols.
• Problem-solving skills for addressing deployment and integration challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale AV or conferencing system deployments in corporate or conference environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Admin Center or similar management platforms.
• Knowledge of hybrid work models and associated AV technologies.
