Golang Developer

About the Role

At OSF Digital we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Golang Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong experience building scalable, high‑performance applications and is comfortable working in modern cloud‑native environments. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust backend services that support our core platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices using Golang

• Implement efficient, reliable, and high‑throughput services using Go concurrency patterns

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and other communication layers

• Collaborate with architecture and product teams to define system requirements and technical solutions

• Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable service operation in production

• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design data models and ensure efficient data access

• Participate in code reviews, mentor developers, and follow best practices for quality and maintainability

• Work within CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps workflows

• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes

• Support cloud‑based deployments on platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

Core Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Golang with experience in scalable, high‑performance application development

• Solid understanding of Go concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels, worker pools)

• Proven experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, gRPC, and modern communication protocols

• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container‑orchestration best practices

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure preferred)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills in Go

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with event‑driven architectures

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools

• Background in high‑traffic or large‑scale distributed environments
