OXON Epidemiology is a niche, late-phase international Contract Research Organisation (CRO) with Operations centred in our Madrid office, and home-based staff in the UK and USA.
If you are looking to make an impact in a growing company and help to shape its growth, this is the place to be. By working in OXON, you can further your career in a dynamic, fast-paced, learning environment, be innovative and make an impact.
Key elements of what OXON provides:
- Close involvement with world-class science (epidemiologists and statisticians, hybrid field-database studies, and an eminent Professor of Medical Statistics, who visits Madrid monthly.)
- Involvement in all aspects of field studies and secondary data studies, as well as pure operational areas: proposal, bid defence, protocol, SAP, eCRF development, PV, analyses, reports, manuscripts.
- Deeper involvement in fewer studies rather than lots of studies.
- Ability to implement your ideas and make improvements.
- Maintain relationships by meeting F2F with your team(s) (frequency of visits to the Madrid office determined by whether you live in or away from Madrid) in a friendly, learning, fun environment.
- A horizontal company, with access to upper management.
- A passion for science and improving patient care, with medics who still see patients.
You will receive broad experience in multi-country observational studies. You will have the opportunity to stay close to the science and interact closely with epidemiologists, medics, statisticians, data managers, EDC software developers, PV, as well the Operations group, and be involved in innovative developments in observational research, such as hybrid field-database studies and pragmatic trials, with leading academics in London, Oxford, and other EU countries. This experience is provided in a supportive, learning environment that will allow you to develop more rapidly than in a narrow silo-based job. We genuinely care about our people, and they share in our success.
