About the role

We are looking to complement our CEO Office team with a smart mind that tackles challenges with both hands. The CEO Office supports the Board of Directors, the Group CEO and the Group Executive Board in their daily tasks and ensures smooth operations across the entire company, as well as its further development. Since the CEO Office covers a wide range of operational and strategic tasks, we look for someone with broad interests and versatile skills. During this 6 months internship, you will report directly to the Chief of Staff, who reports to the Group CEO.

Responsibilities

• Support the Group CEO and Chief of Staff in preparing Group Executive Board and Board of Director meetings

• Participate in key strategic projects that are driven out of the CEO Office, such as international expansion or process improvement initiatives

• Assist other Divisions on critical efforts or analyses, for example our Investor Relations or People & Talent teams

• Take the responsibility to drive specific strategic initiatives forward

• Prepare and moderate our internal town hall meetings

• Independent thinker who can execute tasks autonomously. This can range from the creation of documents for internal meetings to finding solutions to technical problems together with other departments. We expect you to take the lead and drive things.
• Be an open-minded team player. You will work in a position where many endpoints come together. It is vital that you can efficiently collaborate with other teams to further push our goals as a company.
• A strong can-do attitude is essential. As a startup, your scope of action will be broad, and we expect you to be willing—and ideally enthusiastic—about tackling the challenges ahead. For some, you may already know the solution; for others, you will need to discover it. However, with our collaborative team spirit, no mountain or challenge is too big to overcome.
• Learn fast. We do not expect you to have ten years of experience in a field that exists for seven. However, we expect you to quickly dive into a topic and build expertise by learning from others or independently.
• Have a passion for digital assets. Digital assets are Sygnumʼs daily business. We expect you to have an affinity to his topic and share our vision of future finance.
• Know your tools. We work in a business environment and it is key to visualize things. Hence, you should be capable to create PowerPoint slides by yourself and handle Excel sheets.
• A confident appearance in meetings. Be it for an internal meeting or interactions with (potential) clients, we expect you to share your views in a professional manner.
• A strong analytical mindset. You need to be able to collect and analyze information and to formulate and solve problems in a structured way.
