The role

As a QA Automation Engineer, you own test automation end to end.

You work closely with engineers and product teams and influence release decisions directly.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership and clear expectations.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale E2E test automation using Playwright
• Embed automated tests as hard release gates in CI/CD
• Balance automation with exploratory and release testing
• Bring quality into refinement, design and release decisions
• Help standardise testing while multiple products are merged into one platform

Tech & environment

• Playwright (TypeScript / JavaScript)
• CI/CD with enforced quality gates
• SaaS, multi-tenant environment
• Product-driven scale-up with real users

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering
• Strong background in test automation
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Comfortable taking ownership without working in isolation
• SaaS experience (multi-tenant is a plus)
• Fluent in English
• Based in the Netherlands, available for hybrid work
• No relocation or visa sponsorship
