Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Golang
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability
- Ensure best practices in software engineering, including testing and documentation
- Engage in the planning and research phase to help shape project direction
- Proven experience in backend development with both Java and Golang
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Ability to work onsite in Malmö, Sweden, for the full contract duration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Willingness to travel or relocate as required by the project
- Experience working in agile environments is a plus
