Koç University Information Technology Directorate is looking for a Junior UX/UI Designer to join our Digital Solutions Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile applications.

• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.

• Support the creation and maintenance of design systems and UI component libraries.

• Assist in user research activities to understand user needs and expectations.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the design process.

• Participate in user testing, feedback collection, and usability research activities.

• Learn and apply UX/UI best practices, accessibility standards, and current design trends.

• Support the design of visual and branding materials such as banners, infographics, and promotional assets in line with the university’s corporate identity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication Design, or a related field.

• Up to 1 year of experience in UX/UI or digital product design (internship or freelance experience is welcome).

• Familiarity with Figma and Adobe tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator (Adobe XD is a plus).

• Basic understanding of UX concepts such as personas, user journeys, and accessibility principles.

• Strong willingness to learn new tools, design methods, and technologies.

• Attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

• Good command of English.

• A portfolio or sample work demonstrating design skills and design thinking.
