Leap Games is a casual mobile gaming startup based in Sarıyer / İstanbul. We produce and publish casual puzzle games played by millions of users worldwide.
We are looking for a Technical Artist to strengthen the bridge between art and engineering in our young and creative team. You will work closely with both artists and developers to optimize visuals, improve performance, and build scalable art pipelines.
Desired Skills and Experience
- University degree in a related field (Game Development, Computer Graphics, Visual Communication, Engineering, etc.)
- Experience with Unity
- Hands-on experience with:
-Shaders (Shader Graph / basic HLSL knowledge),
-VFX & particle systems,
-UI & animation optimization,
-Unity animation systems (Animator, Animation Controller, animation states & transitions)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted art tools (Layer.ai, Adobe Firefly, Cursor etc.)
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Ability to communicate effectively with both artists and engineers
What You Will Do
- Implement and optimize shaders, materials, and VFX in Unity
- Work with Unity’s animation systems to support UI and character animations
- Improve and maintain art pipelines and workflows
- Collaborate with artists to bring concepts into production-ready assets
- Analyze and apply new tools, technologies, and trends to the production pipeline
- Identify and solve technical bottlenecks related to art and rendering
