Purpose Of Position

To lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget while meeting quality standards. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and apply best practices in project management.

Major Areas Of Responsibility

• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders - Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
• Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability
• Identify and manage project risks and issues proactively
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and methodologies
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure documentation is up to date
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned post-project completion
  
  

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSc or BEng) - PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory - Minimum 5 years of industry experience in project management
• Demonstrated experience in mining, construction and manufacturing sectors
• Proven track record of managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
• Experience in stakeholder management, budgeting, and risk mitigation
• Familiarity with change management principles
  
  

Travel

• International and/or Domestic travel will be required.
• Valid Driver's License and passport

• Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana)
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
