The role is similar to a Chief of Staff role at a fast-growing startup. Focus of the role will be handling different data requirements of a growing online business. It will require understanding written English, organizational skills & capability to use SQL and low-code tools for data exploration and automation.

Based on your experience, you can start as a junior or senior data analyst. At least a year of experience as a data analyst is mandatory.

Role:

The data analyst will work with the AIMultiple team including industry analysts, researchers, software engineers, designers and UX experts. The team has a range of experience from fresh grads to those with decades of experience including experience at firms like McKinsey & Company.

Data Analyst will be responsible for:

• Experimentation: We are constantly running experiments to improve our user experience. The data analyst needs to design, track experiments.
• Operationalizing best practices & new features: Thanks to successful experiments, AIMultiple team constantly identifies new ways to work better and the tech team releases a few new features. These change how we work. Data analyst will document them, share them internally, track their implementation, track their impact, retire or keep them.
• Analytics of our business including revenues and operational metrics. Monitoring important metrics via dashboards and operationalizing them to grow our business. For example, some of our webpages perform better than others because of generalizable reasons. Understanding these reasons can unlock growth for our business.
• Setting up & maintaining controls to ensure satisfactory user experience. For example, code deployments result in constant changes to our website. Some of these changes degrade the user experience. The data analyst will be building a system to identify harmful updates.
• Other tasks to drive the growth of our business.

Requirements:

• Insatiable appetite for learning and growth: This is not a role where you can learn how to work in a few months and then relax. The role will evolve with our company and its multi-faceted nature will require you to constantly improve yourself.
• Grit: You will have a key role in driving AIMultiple's growth. There will be many unforeseeable challenges to our growth, you should have the grit to overcome them. Building a successful business is one of the hardest things in life but it is also one of the most rewarding experiences.
• Bias for action: In a fast growing business, there is not enough time to wait for approvals. You will need to make many decisions with limited information. Your approach needs to be based on monitoring their results and quick course-corrections rather than waiting for approvals.
• Interest in both the technical and the business world: You will need to write SQL, build bots with low-code tools but also understand what drives revenues. You don't need to be fluent in any programming language but be open to having a foundation in both technical and business aspects of building a company.
• Experience as a data analyst or engineer would be valuable.
