We are supporting a prominent investment banking institution in the UAE to appoint a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead their technology strategy, delivery, and innovation in Sharjah.

This is a strategic C-suite position for a seasoned technology leader with deep experience across financial services, digital transformation, and scalable systems.

Overview

As CTO, you will:

• Define and execute the technology vision and strategic roadmap to support business growth and competitive advantage.
• Lead technology teams and collaborate across departments to deliver secure, reliable, and future-proof solutions.
• Oversee architecture, platform engineering, data strategy, and systems integrations across core and digital channels.
• Ensure technology governance, regulatory compliance, and technology risk management in a highly regulated financial environment.
• Drive innovation with emerging technologies (cloud, AI, cybersecurity) to enhance operational efficiency and client outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• Proven CTO experience or similar senior technology leadership within banking, investment, or financial services.
• Strong strategic and operational expertise in financial technology, systems architecture, and team leadership.
• Track record of delivering enterprise tech solutions, digital transformation, and innovation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent technology strategy to executive stakeholders.
• Based in the UAE, with a willingness to be office-based in Sharjah.
